Explore 2008 Orlando - Abstract/Presentation Submittal

Submit your proposal(s) for presentations to be delivered at QAD Explore 2008, the annual, global QAD customer conference being held in Orlando, FL on June 8th – 11th., If accepted, you will receive a Complimentary Conference Registration.
The conference team is seeking presentations for inclusion in tracks devoted to QAD solutions (products and services), technology, business trends and case studies. Special consideration will be given to topics of priority interest to QAD Explore attendees including:
- Customer success stories—solving industry-specific challenges with QAD products or services
- Manufacturing in the 21st century
- Streamlining the Supply Chain
- Customer relationship management
- Supply side/supplier management
- Globalization—distributing operations and outsourcing production
- Regulatory and compliance challenges
- Business issues for executives

 | All proposals must be submitted online using the form referenced above. No faxes or emails can be accepted. Incomplete submittals will not be considered. The deadline for submitting proposals is November 30, 2007 . Presenters will be notified of the status of their proposals by December 31, 2007. |

| Value | Briefly describe (2-3 sentences) the benefits the audience will gain from attending your session. Include the business pains, the QAD solutions and the lessons learned. |

| Abstract | Describe the content of your presentation in a 200 word narrative. This document will serve as the basis for QAD's selection of presenters and, if chosen, will also appear in the conference proceedings as an overview of your breakout session. It is imperative that it accurately represent the actual content of your presentation. |

| Biography | Provide a 200 word professional profile in paragraph form (no resumes, please). Consider including current job title and responsibilities, professional background and experience, education degrees, and professional certifications or affiliations. |

| Terms and Conditions: |
- Presenters' submittals will be edited for style and consistency and will appear in the conference guide.
- All presenters must use a standard conference template designed and provided by QAD.
- All presentations will be subject to content, graphics and editorial reviews.
- Presentations may NOT be sales oriented. Presentation of prices or other marketing information is not permitted.
- Presenters may not include company logos on title pages or as part of the template.
- Sessions are 60 minutes in length. Presentations should be limited to 50 minutes in order to allow 10 minutes for question and answer.
- Following the conference, presentations will be provided to attendees in an online format. Presenters should be cognizant of the fact that presentations are made public.
- Members of the media may attend select sessions.
- Presenters agree to audio and/or video recording at QAD's discretion.
- It is the obligation of the presenter to meet deadlines for submittal of presentation materials. QAD reserves the right to replace presenters who do not submit materials in a timely fashion.
- No more than two presenters are allowed per breakout session.
- Confirmed presenters who are unable to attend may be asked to locate a replacement speaker qualified to cover the same material.
- All presenters will be required to sign a speaker agreement acknowledging and consenting to these terms and conditions.

| Expenses: | Customer presenters receive complimentary conference registration (limited to one per company). In the case of co-presenters from the same company, the individual listed as Presenter #2 on the Presentation Abstract Form is charged a regular conference registration fee.
Partner presenters from sponsor companies receive complimentary conference registration (limited to one per company). In the case of co-presenters from the same sponsor company, the individual listed as Presenter #2 on the Presentation Abstract Form is charged a regular conference registration fee. All partner presenters from non-sponsor companies pay a regular conference registration fee.
Complimentary registration includes free admission to all keynote presentations, breakout sessions, Partner Expo, hands-on demos, receptions and the conference gala. The complimentary speaker registration, a value of approximately $1,895, is not transferable. No other expenses are reimbursed to the presenter. |
